RETAIL MANAGER // OPERATIONS MANAGER

Responsible for the daily operations of running the flagship store in Los Angeles. This includes managing the in store team, working with local vendors to produce inventory, running customer service, inventory management for in store and online orders, and managing in store experience and events. This is a full time position and works directly with the founder of Hiro Clark.


RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Managing in store customer experience and brand promoting events 

  • Managing a team of retail associates, creating schedules, and communicating any changes and updates to the operations of Hiro Clark 

  • Building the customer experience, increasing retail and in store sales 

  • Conceptualizing and executing retail/in store shopping programming opportunities

  • Working with Social Team to create influencer packages and manage shipment and in store visits

  • Managing all returns and exchanges

  • Working with local print and dye houses to coordinate weekly drops of new inventory

  • Producing weekly work orders to ensure clear communication between HC and vendors

  • Working with internal teams to update restocking and new items

  • Training new team members

  • Managing supplies for the office and shipping operations

  • Working directly with the founder of Hiro Clark regarding any changes or special projects as they arise 


MUST HAVE SKILLS 

  • Retail experience 

  • Experiential Retail Experience

  • People Management

  • Inventory Management

  • Knowledge of Shopify for Inventory management

  • Knowledge of Shipstation or shipping platforms

  • Knowledge of Loop returns platform or other returns portals

  • High communication and coordination skills


PR SUPPORT

Hiro Clark is actively looking for PR support.  This role is results driven.  Our focus for 2025 is an increase in our organic traffic via digital press & influencer outreach.  

Candidates should have strong & existing relationships in the menswear, sportswear, lifestyle and hospitality spaces.  This includes the U.S. and worldwide.

We see this candidate as an individual or smaller / independent agency. 

This position can be remote.

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactive pitching & targeted outreach // print & digital.

  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of digital affiliate programs.  This is a must.

  • Existing PR relationships in the menswear space, lifestyle, hospitality, and sportswear media.  Additional relationships in the news adjacent fields are a plus, including beauty & wellness.

  • Editorial outreach & setting up one-on-one meetings with editors and journalists.

  • Relationships with celebrity and editorial stylists and VIPS.

  • Relationships with wardrobe stylists including TV, streaming and film projects.

  • Influencer relationships that are brand extensions.

 

WHOLESALE MANAGER

Hiro Clark is seeking a strong Wholesale Manager in LA. MUST come from high end men’s and women’s street wear / essentials apparel and wholesale.  We are looking to build wholesale relationships with traditional and non traditional (aka hospitality, for example) retailers.  Our focus is boutique business and not big box retailers for 2025.


Specific Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for managing and achieving sales goals with all existing and new accounts. The wholesale manager will work closely to build & execute strategies in order to maximize sales and margins, support and promote the brand, and maintain optimal relationships.


Operations & Results

  • Perform daily review of order management to ensure shipments, distributions and deliveries for each account, and ensure they are in the system in a timely manner. Work closely with the customer service team to communicate any extension, shipping or pricing issues with accounts to secure the timely fulfillment of all orders.

  • Partner with the operations team to ensure proper credit, shipping, and bookings for each customer.

  • Monitor analyze weekly sales and stock levels and uncover any opportunities and possible issues.

  • Devise strategies and make recommendations to customers and internal partners regarding merchandising, and orders and reorders to help drive sales.

  • Help to manage samples for showroom and marketing purposes – both internally & for accounts.

  • Travel to customer locations to meet with buyers, realize any sales potential opportunities and ensure proper in-store execution.

  • Manage OTB to meet financial targets for shipments, sales, inventory & profitability


Customers & Relationships

  • Cultivate, develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and focus on their goals & business needs.

  • Manage communications and feedback between customers and internal partners in Sales, Design and Production.

  • Contribute to cultivation of new accounts and opportunities to expand business with existing accounts; identify and strategize means to penetrate new markets.


What You Can Bring

  • At least 5 years of experience with wholesale accounts (Specialty and Major Accounts).

  • Strong attention to detail in written communication and system.

  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, using sound judgement.

  • Proficient with Excel, analyzing data, and creating selling templates etc.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively across various departments.

  • Ability to work in a changing environment.
